About the Festival
2024 FESTIVAL DATES AND TIMES

Friday, June 28 - 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Saturday, June 29 - 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Sunday, June 30 - 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
BUT - the Festival needs help building the Festival and tearing it down - check out shifts for more specific projects and times!
Location: Festival surrounds Western Gateway Park. Volunteer Headquarters is located inside the Pappajohn Building, 1200 Grand Avenue, with hours starting on Wednesday, June 26.
Parking: Free parking is available in the Nationwide Parking Garage, 1100 Walnut Street.

All volunteers receive a Des Moines Arts Festival volunteer t-shirt, a free pint from Exile Brewing, and snacks and drinks to keep you energized! PLUS - unlimited high fives!
